The History of Ace Car Reconditioning

2003: Robert Keppel creates RK Auto Restoration, a mobile car detailing service in Portland, OR.

2004: RK Auto Restoration adds vinyl/leather repair, mobile bumper scuff repair, and paint touch up to its services.

2005: RK Auto Restoration moves into its fixed location at 3935 SW 170th Ave, Beaverton, OR, where it adds complete auto collision repair, auto upholstery, window tinting, and paintless dent removal to its services.

2006: RK Auto Restoration is renamed to Ace Car Reconditioning.

2006: Keppel launches Applied Colors, a paint touch up system manufacturer and retailer.

2009: Keppel sells Ace Car Reconditioning to Eric Palacios to operate and grow  Applied Colors full time.

2010: Ace Car Reconditioning opens a second location in Tigard, OR.
